Our faith professes a God who is the maker of all things, "seen and unseen." On this Feast of St Michael and All Angels, how do we reckon with the things unseen and what can we learn about our own place in Creation?
The church is not a building, it is the people of God. But the people of God have a lot of work to do and those buildings can be a big help with a big task.
Who do people say that we are? What evidence is there of our Christian nature in our day to day lives? Do we hear and respond to the call of Jesus, even when it means we must deny ourselves, take up our crosses, and walk paths we would rather not tread?
We trust in God to provide for our needs and to care for us in all situations. When we approach God's many gifts, do we approach from a place of entitlement or a place of humility?
